I always have three bin liners in the hall - one for clothes, one for the local dog shelter, and one for other charity stuff.
DH was told off the other day for putting an old shirt in the bin.

Well done HB. This is something I should be doing too.
I compound the not chucking old stuff away problem by taking in other peoples' discarded stuff "in case it comes in handy".
I must nip all this in the bud before I end up on that tv programme being bossed about by the 2 blonde women

I'm guilty of that and my mother tries to palm stuff onto me to.
I'm not as bad as hubby though. Everything is squirrelled away for future use. Bits of wood, screws and nails, plugs, wire....you name it and we have got it in our garage. Mind you when something needs fixing or mending he is your man

Well that's a plus.
If I need something I've "rescued" I have to try to work out where I put it

Late Dad kept everything 'in case' and when he sent me for a screw in a certain box, it would be right there!

I need to know where things are and just don't like clutter. It makes me unsettled so therefore a clear out was required.
I did manage to give some things away. My daughters boyfriend now has a lovely throw and some older hand towels for the two new kittens.

Yep and they are up to all sorts...in tandem
Lovely though but very very naughty....they are 14 weeks old....two little girls who are on a house destroying mission
