moonbeam121167 - I still think you are using far too much oestrogen - you have basically doubled your dose per day and that is an awful lot. I don't know what symptoms you are trying to help with such a high dose but I doubt your mood will get any better if you continue with the nausea and headaches.
I really think you need to start from scratch: Just use the patch for 2 weeks and see if the headaches and nausea improve.  Then add one pump of gel per day for 2 weeks to see if that helps.
The pains in your chest need to be investigate by your GP.  DG x

Hi Dancingirl, I have been on 100mcg patch and 2mg pill since Jan this year, it has helped with most of the meno symptoms , but the nausea and headaches are still hanging around, I suffer from IBS according to the hospital but don't take nothing for it I just watch what I eat, been trying for months and months to change the pill to something transdermal but the two man GP has said no but Monday just gone the lady GP said to try the gel for a month, I did try stopping the pills and just use the patch but after a few days I would start feel miserable, ratty, have bad mood swings, thought it was the fact I wasn't have the extra dose, start again and I would feel better !!!!!!! I have suffered for years with headaches, always around the time of the month, they said it was hormonal headaches, thought once I had the Hysterectomy they would go but NO and I get nausea with it  :'( :'( :'(

Hi just been using estradot 100mcg and 1 pump of the gel now for a week and GOD today I feel awful, I stopped my pill say 11 days ago but today I had an adrenaline rush, for which I have not had since before  my I started on HRT, I feel quite real shaky, sick and feels like tightness around my chest, just want to throw up feel blurrrrr,  I still having the headaches as well, fed up, especially messing around with the HRT, can anyone help or advice, it seems just a bit of a coincidence I reduce my estrogen and now had one of these adrenaline rushes and feeling crap again, wish I just stuck with the pill patch combo and put up with the headaches cause they are alot better than feeling like this, or should I add another dose of the gel, making it 100mcg patch and 2 pumps of gel, as before I was on , first time around 4mg's pills then they changed it to 100mcg patch and 2mg pills and never had adrenaline rushes, hot flushes or mood swings, just headaches and nausea but its alot better than how I feel now, with the help of Metoclopramide and a paracetamol .. :(

Sorry to hear you are still feeling rough.
We can't help any more than we have already moonbeam. I would really ask to be referred to a menopause specialist and note down everything you have taken for how long and what it has made you feel.
Look at my post below about what Dr Annie Evans said re testosterone.
You also should have several blood tests (while you are keeping a constant level of oestrogen) to see where you are in terms of oestrogen - are you really too high (or too low) - just to check how much you are absorbing.
Please go to the doc.
We cannot do any more for you because it is clear your situation is complex and needs expert gynaecological/medical help and especially re your headaches.
Wishing you the very best in trying to sort this out and please keep us updated and we can support you and sympathise even if we can't help re dosage and what you need to help you feel better

Can't advise on your doseage of HRT, but are you aware the long term use of metoclopramide is not safe.

It can cause heart problems if used on a regular basis. The over the counter equivalents have been withdrawn.
Maybe ask your GP how safe this is to use on a constant basis.

Honeybun, I have made an appointment with the nice lady GP for Thursday, wasn't aware the risks thanks for that, I will ask to be seen again by a meno person but I do believe this messing around with my HRT has not helped or is helping, the last time I had one of those funny turns was before my op, when I was in peri-menopause and but once I added some HRT gel 1/2 hour later I did feel a better, tonight I added another pump , I do wish now I stuck with the HRT I was on and put up with the headaches , cause it is better than how I felt this morning, so until I see the GP I will dd 2 pumps a day on top of the Estradota and see what she says, thanks Hurdity and Honeybun for all your help and I am sorry to go on and on all the time xx
