Hi ,
she said that the tiredness may improve , but if it doesn't it could be down to a number of factors and she would do blood tests in 3 months. I still haven't started my period, but have stomach cramps though- although they are mild ones .

I suppose that you will have to give it at least a couple of cycles on the higher dose to see if it makes any difference. Lets hope so. I am still emotional , but not dramatically so at present.
I do hope we eventually get it right , as it were !

HORMONES  >:(  ::) = tiredness.  I remember it well!

Do you keep a mood/food diary?

Hi yes ,

I keep a diary , so I can see if there are any patterns. I have started my period this morning , - bad stomach cramps , so I have taken some pain killers. But I do not feel completely dreadful as I have done before (I hope I haven't spoken too soon! ), I have a lot going on in my life at the moment and I am coping really well considering , so I think that is because of the HRT kicking in. Although I am still tired I am coping with the tiredness much better than before. I have an important bit of news I am expecting today and I would appreciate if you could send me lots of good vibes/ wishes .

Many thanks ladies for all your support,

Well, things haven't worked out as I would have hoped , but at least I coped well today. I have decided to give myself a weekend of me time and hope that next week will be better. If only one could get off this fair ground ride of menopause . I am feeling decidedly flat , and fed up.

So sorry to hear that Pepperminty, but, as you say, at least you coped. I hope things will be better for you next week. :)

Maybe give the HRT another month or two, and then perhaps give the Pill a try? You have nothing to lose.

Hope you're managing to put your feet up this weekend  :)
