 :rofl:  we have blanket weed but also damsels laying eggs so can't clear it out - anyone know how long eggs take to hatch?

It's between 2 to 5 weeks CLKD - depending on which type laid the eggs.... did they leave a calling card to help you??

Thanks - we saw them, watched for ages - they are red damselflies: the same as what crawled out of our pond 5 weeks ago  ;)

I take it they are large red damselflies and not the small ones as then you would have the damselfly-watchers around to see! http://www.british-dragonflies.org.uk/species/large-red-damselfly  Fascinating things - so delicate.
