I'm still on femoston conti patches 50mcg. I generally wear them on my thighs and they are great. However a few weeks ago I noticed a rash on my legs so I stopped wearing the patch. After a couple of days the rash subsided but after 5 days without a patch I became very irritable and given to outbursts!! I called the doctor and couldn't get hold of her, I was so stressed and irritable I just stuck another patch on and after 24 hours turned back into a sensible person again.
Today I have woken up and have a rash on my arms this time. Exactly the same. It has to be the hrt. I'm too scared of taking the patch off. I've called the doctor but she is on holiday for 2 weeks. I don't know what to do.
Help please!

It may well be allergy to the stickiness in the patch.  You could have a discussion with a Pharmacist about the medication? most have private rooms in the Chemists these days.
