Hi ladies

Just out of interest, how did it take before your flushes topped when you first started taking hrt?

I'm on estradot 25, admittedly only just coming up 3 weeks. My flushes are not quite so intense but still there, thinking of upping patches if they don't go soon. Really makes my working life very difficult, especially at client meetings :) Started on very low dose but happy to step up if needed.

Really interested to hear about your experiences.

Give it a few more weeks. I was about 4 weeks until they'd gone completely.

Thanks CG :) Was aiming for around 4 weeks as trying to get away with the 25 dose if I can so that gives me the willpower to continue for a bit! :)

Although I do have some joint problems and I think you need at least 50 for the hrt to protect your bones, so if I do have to increase won't be a problem for me, just no point in taking more than you need to x

Thanks for replying Sphere2. Wish mine had gone that quickly :) Am def thinking I may have to increase my dose/patch.

I think I could cope if I wasn't working, but unfortunately needs must and it's really not a good look at client meetings, stresses me out big time and then makes it worse!

Ah well, onwards and upwards.... xx
