I would love one of those GTech cordless ones. Anyone got one?

I am considering just this.  I am rather taken with the advertisements for the GTech Air Ram which is cordless and doesn't emit clouds of dust when you empty it.  However I have a 9 year old Oreck still in excellent working order so cannot really justify the expense of trading it in just yet.

This thread will be interesting and informative.

Sorry Clio, my reply wasn't about a recent hoover with reduced wattage.

I suspect there won't be many comments about the reduced wattage.
The regulations haven't been around long enough, think about a couple of months?
If any do come up, it would be good to know.

REduced wattage doesn't make any difference really - SEBO have always been within the lower wattage range and are really powerful. I want ease of use and reliability in my electrical equipment.  DG x

That's good to hear DG - I'd assumed with them being so powerful they couldn't be lower wattage.
