Yes, I think you're probably right Honeybun. I would guess that most women who end up here are here because menopause/HRT has been problematic for them.

I expect there are millions of women who just have a few meno issues. Start on HRT and find the right preparation straight away. Feel great again and simply never look back (lucky things).

It would be interesting to do a  survey and see how many women who end up on here, due to menopause/HRT being problematic, have actually suffered with hormonal issues all their lives e.g. PMS/PMDD/PND etc. I'm willing to bet a large sum of money that very many of us have?

My consultant explained to me that with my history of PMS and PND I was 'a classic candidate' to now struggle with peri menopause symptoms, in particular hormonal low mood/anxiety.
