Eating in after reading reviews. Eating out at home on Saturday. My son would have insisted on paying and I'm not comfortable with that so he can take us down the pub on Saturday.
We have paid a lot in the past but the bill was picked up by hubbies work.....didn't care how much it cost then
Royal Troon was a favourite then.

Good idea HB! Mind you if our son put his hand in his pocket to pay for a meal hubby & I would need resuscitation!

Personally unless there was a great Gastro type pub around I would prefer just to get some really good quality ingredients and cook them , finish off with and M & S dessert if needs be,
