Hi,
Just been to docs for check up and new prescription. The 200mg Utrogestan has been
discontinued.Have got to take 2x 100mgs nightly now.

Just thought I'd let the ladies know this.

It's all very odd. The information leaflets that come with Utrogestan are also incorrect at the moment. I emailed the company and they are correcting the info leaflets. Whether they will re introduce the 200mg - who knows - but in the mean time we have to take two pills instead of one!! DG x

Hi Diana thanks - yes it's been discontinued for a quite a while now (as HRT), although actually it is still available (exactly the same product) for fertility which is bizarre!

Dancinggirl - it is outrageous that the Patient Info leaflet has not been updated to reflect the change in dose. I think they have just used the 200 mg leaflet and changed "200" to "100". The SPC ( Summary of Product Characteristics) is correct but the PIL is not.
