I got it from Amazon. They come in all shapes and sizes. He hopes to do my side of the family too. Given the fact my dad was one of 13 children I got a large one  ;D

It rolls up nicely into a tube...it ain't going on any wall though.....well maybe the garage  ::)

I used the same site as Taz suggested http://www.forces-war-records.co.uk/search/ when searching about my Dads military history.
 I didn't get very far but they do have a very good forum which may help.

I think service / war records are hard to search, almost as hard as the Irish records x
