Will there be investigations into why the baby didn't make full term?  Is there a genetic link between the siblings?  Sometimes there isn't an obvious reason ……… sad times for all concerned, including the Staff.

Baby came at 11 o'clock this morning,it wasn't apparant whether a boy or girl
There will be a post mortem which will tell us that.
The hospital was excellent.
They were given lots of time, the chaplain said a blessing and prayers and they have a memory box.
They will be fine, they have accepted it and in time they will be ok.
Just glad DIL is ok.

It is difficult for everyone.  I think generally 'we' are more attuned to these situations particularly the Hospitals.  >Melanie61< and family

Hello melanie61.

I've just caught up with this thread and wanted to send you hugs.

My mother had a stillborn baby and suffered because she wasn't able to express her natural sorrow. Thankfully we live in more enlightened times.

Wishing you and your family well.

Glad it all went as well as it could. Very difficult for everyone.

The memory box will be with them forever.

Wishing you all the very best.
