Not Again
« on: February 14, 2015, 09:06:34 PM »

My eldest son and wife had a stillborn baby girl 11 years ago.
My youngest son and wife have just found out that 16 weeks into their pregnancy their baby has died.
We are now waiting for their baby to be delivered ,she has taken one tablet and is waiting for labour to start.
I can't believe our family have to bear this tragedy again.
My poor DiL she is so strong, they have two boys so are so fortunate, but to give birth to a baby that will not live is so sad.
The hospital have asked them to think about funeral arrangements and a name for the baby.
They will have to have a post mortem too.
His brother and sister and us are so devastated.

Sending all my best wishes. Life is so unfair and you just have to ask why.

I I do understand, I lost a little girl at five days old. She would have been 23 this month and you never forget.

My thoughts are with your DIL.

As you will know having gone through this before...the hospital does offer help and guidance...if you can get your DIL to take all the help she can get.

Thankyou.
Honeybun I sympathise with you,you must think about her all the time.People say it gets better with time ,but it's always with you isn't it.
Jessica, my eldest sons daughter would have been 11 this year.
I know that these things happen for a reason because they wouldn't be well, but we just expect with medical knowledge being so good nowadays that they can cure anything.
Nature cannot be fought against ,no matter how hard we fight it x

I always knew during that pregnancy things were not right.

I really do believe nature at times takes over and there is nothing anyone can do. SANDS is very good if she needs some help.

Oh my heart aches for her.
