Out of the 2 the first one but if I had to choose I would have "Thinking out loud' Ed Sheeran.

Definitely the first one - I have some very nice/naughty memories of this song. I really loved INXS.

Also this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcATvu5f9vE - still miss Robert Palmer

Taz I'm with you on that one.  Hubby bought me that for Christmas one year.  Thinking Out Loud too Dyan.

Valentine's day 1976 hubby bought me When I Need You by Leo Sayer. I was reduced to a blubbering wreck. Still reduces me to tears.

Oh dear I think I'm extremely ignorant when it comes to pop music!  :-\

I haven't heard of the first band INXS and have heard neither of those two songs, nor did I like either of them and wouldn't want to hear them again. In fact got bored with both of them!

I've heard of Robert Palmer though don't know any of his music and didn't know that one - of the three listed that would be the one I would choose although it didn't grab me on first listening!

When I first met my DH he was in the RAF as a pilot, 'Leaving on a jet plane ' became our song and we recently found it on a digitally remastered CD much to our delight. We prefer the oldies- Roger Whittacker and John Denver-just an age thing I suppose!
Enjoy Valentines day everyone

INXS were an Australian band Hurdity. The lead singer Michael Hutchence was Paula Yate's lover and they were both parents to Tiger Lily who was subsequently brought up by Bob Geldof after Michael and Paula's deaths. I find that track really sexy but as I said it does have good memories - that feeling of being so attracted to someone that you just can't spend another minute away from them.  Their music was distinctive and they were on the soundtrack for the film The Lost Boys which I've actually watched all the way through - something I usually find very difficult  ;D

Heard a really slushy one on radio today. Sang along to hubby, though doubt he was that impressed.  ;D

I agree it is very sentimental but I quite liked it - a bit long though! Over 390m views  :o

Thanks for the info Taz  :) - I've not come across that film either - oh dear where have I been?

The film's really old now - must have been in the eighties I reckon - maybe the nineties - I like this track from it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLSl8kwnnVU

An ex sent me this today with a Happy Valentine message https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UThsJeJ7BfU  took me back twenty years.
