Into the new series now.  Harrowing at times.  Don't know if the producers are trying to bring to the notice the various problems that pregnancy can bring or if they are still 'on' the original books  ::)

Original books finished long ago.

Tear jerker tonight but spoiled by the stupid message at the end from the BBC.

Many problems have that kind of link - like we don't know there is support  :-\

Now of course the mum would have held her twin for a while ……. and probably let the new born cuddle his sibling.

Storylines are just based on the books now. Think original stories were finished after second series.

Was a sad episode tonight.

I loved them!  I trained as a midwife and read them during my training - a real insight into how things have changed - not all of it for the better!
