No painful joints/ knees /elbows /fingers always came in pairs
Neck pain drastically reduced

No utis at all so no antibiotics and no thrush etc

This is in a very short period of time for me so I've been really blessed but we do tend to forget how far we've came thanks to hrt and support.I can now look at this post forever and thank my lucky stars.xx

Phobia? Sounds perfectly rational to me to be scared of needless - they hurt! And it makes it worse when they say 'sharp scratch' before they stab you.

Gosh who says that!!!!

HRT has been a saviour I totally agree.  One downside for me has been weight gain, now I dont know whether that is hrt or age creeping up but I cant ever shift this extra  stone I put on no matter what I do.  Im living with it cellulite  n' all!  Exercise most days and eat normal portions and fairly healthy most days....

Bring me sunshine - weight gain is definitely age related. I'm 62 now and decided to come off HRT at 60 as side effects were such a nuisance - taking anything must be about more benefits than side effects. When I stopped hrt, I lost a good deal of muscle mass so did loose a bit of weight but have gained more fat around hips and lower tummy. I have reduced the amount I eat by about one third. My skin has gone like crepe paper - aging is horrid in so many ways. DG x

I'm not a fan of ageing other than I am at an age were I see people I want to see and dont try to please as much as I used to and cant really be bothered with "small talk".  Probably thats down to confidence and not bein bothered what people think anymore xx
