Hope you feel better really soon Milly.

I don't like moist toilet wipes and my mums GP told her only to use the alcohol free ones because other wise they can cause havock with your bits  ::)

Meant to ask does anyone know if ABs interfere with HRT the way it can with contraceptive pill?

Think it's less of an issue with patches than it is with pills.

Hope you feel better soon.

I'm on pills low dose so hopefully won't notice too much of a difference.

Thanks Limpy

honeybun, I think your mums GP was probably referring to 'intimate wipes' which are very dodgy and I would never use.  They are just for your 'bits'.  Bum wipes are your 'rear end' only.

GP told mother never to use any wipes on either area as the alcohol is drying and causes damage to both. You can get alcohol free ones I think but we just stopped getting them for mother as the GP said it's easier to spread infection from back to front as you make the area wet. Mother has repeated urine infections and we think a lot of them are from cross contamination. Easy to do when your 92 I guess.

Yes much better, I thought I was feeling ok at beginning of week but now I realise I couldn't have been cause it's the best I've felt in a few weeks so I guess something was working on me and I had put it down to anxiety at Xmas
Thank you for replies and asking
Hope you have a nice new year

Your GP needs to refer you maybe?  It can be tiring and continual ABs can upset the gut  :-\

Did we talk about vaginal atrophy …...
