Eventually managed to track my son down. He works funny hours. Either US Times or UAE and I'm never sure what. He is a real city boy, any way he was in the office well out of Glasgow thank God.

My daughter's friends were putting out messages wanting all the girls to check in, all ok although one dropped a friend off at Queens St just before it all happened.

Still to hear the names. Scotland can be a very small place and everyone on my part of the coast heads for Glasgow over the Xmas period. I like to go to the square to watch the ice skating.

This is another tragedy after the Clutha Bar last year.

My heart is heavy tonight.

Glasgow folk rose to help as they always do.

Definitely HB, I'm on the coast line and Glasgow is the place to be this time of year, worrying when you know kids always head there, so sad.

Can I ask where. I'm near the place famous for the ice cream parlour and I can see Millport from my window.
If your not happy saying then that's fine  8)

As I said my son lives in the city and my daughter is at uni. They go all over the city. I had the same issue last year because both of my two were in the city the night of the Clutha.

Small city, and why again.

Ok it begins with W. I am one stop north of you.
Shoe shop beginning with S. Umm can't think if if it's in the village.

Ok did you go down the line to school or up.  I grew up in A and went to school there. Worked in a shoe shop in S as a Saturday girl for years.
Moved to L 20 odd years ago and that's where my kids went to school. Moved to F four years ago.

Ooo wonder who you are. When did you start secondary school ?
Heck it's a small world. Pass your village so often on my way to my mum's.

Oh HB this is so funny!
I thought you were in L but no closer F, the shoe shop I worked in was in L 25 years ago lots of branches in Glasgow too I travelled there doing there windows. I grew up in W and went to school in A from 82 till 88 then straight to shoe shop, my kids went to A, this is weird but good.

I left school in 78 So I'm a good bit older than you. 54 this year. My youngest left L Academy two years ago so if you had kids there  ;D

I worked all over. The local one was the oil refinery in A.

Bet we know some of the same people though. It's a small place don't you think.

The only shoe shop I can think of is Clark's, but it's not that.

This is so strange, sitting typing this and Milly is about five miles away from me.

It's code that you get CG, but you know where I live and now you know where Milly lives too.
