Have had heavy periods for years (now fifty) and in July was given nexplanon implant.  First 8 weeks were great but since 31st August have had spotting, not had one clear day.  Went back to doctors and she said was normal, huh, not for me. So prescribed three months of micronor, which hasn't made a bit of difference.  Go to centre parcs in three weeks so need to sort this out. Anyone else had similar experiences. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, I also suffer from heavy periods, and my GP put me on the mini pill, wasn't too bad for the first couple of  months but in month three I have been having a period for a few weeks now, it doesn't seem to want to stop, so I'm very interested in the replies you get as this was an option for me to try but looking at your post I'm not so sure!!!
