Hubby has heating on at home as it's freezing. Meanwhile I'm down south & cooked in 21° today. Went out in just a T-shirt.

When we came back from the sun early Oct we put the heating on but it soon went off again.  It comes on early in the morning as hubby gets up at 6 and likes it warm when he comes downstairs.  It goes off again at 7 as when I get back from dog-walking I'm usually glowing.  Still sleeping just under duvet cover and light cotton blanket with the A/C on in our room

Heating is on as it's chilly today. Been promised 18 degrees tomorrow.

I have one of those newish systems that requires thermostats in different rooms.
I just turn up the thermostat in the living room in the evening when we are sitting down.
When it does get colder we have a multi fuel stove - it's such a wonderful warmth from this thing I wouldn't' be without it.  I do the washing during the evening and hang it in front of this stove before we go to bed and it's dry in the morning.
