Another television thread

Are any of you as transfixed as I am by Life Story - the David Attenborough programme...
That little fish last week that made the amazing circle in the sand, the little birds that decorate their bowers with pieces of blue plastic, the little chicks that had to throw themselves off a cliff face to follow their parents...
It really is a privilege to watch programmes like these

I watched the chicks jumping down the cliff one - amazing - need to catch up on the other programmes before they go off i player.
I like it as well when they show programmes of how these pictures were captured.
i quite like the camera man Charlie Hamilton James who is married to Philippa Forrester - (lucky her !) watched all his programmes about the piece of the amazon he bought.

Hi Hattie, I am looking forward to the episode tonight, it is the last one, it features animals protecting their young. You must try and watch the one with the fish making the circle in the sand.

Yes, Judith, I have watched them all and loved them. Incredible what the camera crew have to do in search of these creatures.....all those ants tonight!! Made my flesh crawl!
The fish sequence was truly amazing, absolutely beautiful.
The hour is over all too quickly for me. Fascinating

I know I was so angry with that cuckoo, couldn't believe it actually has a hollow on its back to help toss the other eggs over the side, that poor mother bird
