Ye sharp kind of spasm I find myself sitting completely straight or stretching over to right in case it was a nerve, not painful just uncomfortable when it starts. I remember 10 yrs ago having this on and off but it disappeared so never bothered, very confusing trying to describe sensation and pin point what

When I get gallstone attacks it's under my right breast and corresponding position in my back, fairly classic apparently and very very severe. Goes on for 20 minutes to 2 hours. Since the last attack, I have continued to have niggly pains in the same place in my back. During an attack, I do get pains in the left side. I am able to eat normally in between attacks, which is why I'm a bit concerned.

To be honest, I didn't have a high fat diet anyway. I've stopped putting butter( goats, have to avoid cows dairy anyway) on anything and eat less goats cheese. No milk anyway. I did indulge in chips sometimes if eating out, but that's not often, so I really havent cut out a lot. As the doctor said, I'm not a typical gall stone candidate. My daughter commented that it seems unfair, as I have had to be careful about my diet for years.
