:'( Dear lady just need to cry on your shoulders, almost 4 weeks post coil and feeling terrible, so so sad and low, peeing all the time. had a Dr appointment and was told I had a UTI given antibiotics . Also took out the estring last night as I was in so much discomfort felt as if it was on my bladder.I did think it was helping with the burning.down below a bit .

GP stopped my martazapine at night and has given me sleeping tabs !!! didn't wont them .she is finally sending me to a specialist meno clinic i will hopefully go privately.so so fed up with feeling ill burning all the time no flushes just burning hot never sweat just burn. Has anyone had a uti with the estring i avoided the leaflet until today as they just make me more worried and it said it was a side effect. did manage to keep it in for 12 days before I took it out hope it helped the burning down below .back to vagefem .  Seeing the consultant next week that put my coil in took his secretary 3 weeks to return my call re my peeing and burning i went privately not the service you expect and he said he wasnt an expert in HRT . Feel terrible with the coil wish I could just have it out . :'(

Oh poor you.  Has anyone discussed vaginal atrophy?  Peeing all the while, feelings of pressure around the bladder point to VA.  Did your GP send your urine sample to a Lab. as this is the ONLY way to see if there is infection present.  White cells are no indication  ::) ……. and ABs can make one feel dreadful too.

If you aren't sure if your sample was sent away then ring the Surgery and ask why not.  Do you have Vagifem, if so you will need to reload, i.e. use it every night for at least 2 weeks.

Take a list of symptoms when you go to your Surgeon next week!
