It's sorted now but interestingly most of the Estate knew it had been bumped before we did: 'cos we were still curled up under the leccy blanket.

However: a neighbour did stop and ask if he should tell me that the car had been bumped, he didn't want to cause upset in the street but having seen it happen

. I said that he should always mention such issues, that we weren't particularly bothered as the person had 'owned up' and no-one had been injured.
He seemed quite embarrassed to be telling me about the incident but I would rather someone say rather than worry about the issue. We were pleased that a) the person who bumped didn't knock us up at 7.30 a.m. and b) that she admitted later that day
