I use about a teacup too. I found so many different instructions on the internet, including that you must soak for 10 minutes, at least 40 minutes, never for longer than 20 (why? because I'll turn into a pumpkin?!) , between 10 & 30...amounts varied hugely too. I started off with a tiny amount and worked up as I wasn't sure how my skin would react. I usually soak for about 20 minutes as I am not a wallow-in-the-bath type person. But the results have been AMAZING! It doesn't just make me feel incredibly relaxed, it wipes out all the joint ache, clears up the soreness and irritation down below, stops my skin itching and feeling dry...psoriasis has been much happier too. Usually sleep much better the night after a salts bath as well. In fact, I rabbit on so much to so many people about how wonderful it is that I am rapidly becoming the Official Number One Epsom Salts Bore of Great Britain.
