that's not a bad ad for the makers of the plastic pool! You know what those cute ones weigh?!!!
nice to have a morning smile, thanks  :)

I don't like zoos but when I was a kid the school took us to the local one. There was a giraffe. I have thick, curly hair and when little, my mum never got it cut for me. Frizz alert. The giraffe lent over the side of the enclosure and tried to eat my hair.
For some unknown reason, my friends thought this was pretty funny and went on about it for years. (I still love giraffes, but keep my hair short these days).  ;D

The thought of that long black tongue exploring your head …………… makes me shudder  ;D

Without Zoos we wouldn't have a World Wide Conservation programme!  Without seeing 'wild' animals close up, very few of us would have any interest in the world at large.  Zoo conditions have certainly improved in my Life-time, I've been taken to zoo collections since age 5 ……. and with dedicated breeding programmes may mean that animals could, eventually, be re-located into their homeland  ;)
