Thank goodness I tried this on
« on: August 12, 2014, 05:44:06 PM »

Well having used my sports swimsuit at pool this morning, I had to put on a holiday one when taking GD to pool this afternoon. Found out it was rather big, but went ahead. Well it stretched horrendously in the pool, baggy bum the lot. Had to re-arrange myself before leaving pool.  ;D  I'd forgotten that I'd worn bigger swimsuits 2 years ago. So bought new ones online in m&s sale just now.  Hope they are OK. Not much to choose from.

Good thing you did try it on CG.
But isn't it better having to get smaller rather than larger   ;D

It was a very pleasant surprise, though hubby did try to stop chorkling!  He's needed new stuff too, but I thought I'd be fine with swimsuits I had.  Talk about duck's disease!  ;D

Oh heavens I'd forgotten those. Mind you my mum always bought my cossies big, so I'd grow into them. But having a biggish cossie when you're about 10 is infinitely better than when you're nearing 60!

I can just imagine you trying to get out the pool without loosing your dignity  ;D

TK Max had a few when I was in on Saturday.

Have ordered a couple from markies. Hopefully they will be OK. I ordered longer length ones as I hate yanking cossies up/down to cover my dignity. Just hope not too long.

Serves me right, being so confident that current ones would be OK. Thank goodness I found out now & not on holiday in 2 weeks time.

CG maybe since you are obviously a lot smaller than last time you put on swimsuit, would a bikini not be better. Helen Mirren move over!!!

Oh no, no way! Would never subject anyone to that! Was never a bikini girl. Has two to go to Italy in 1979 & they never saw the light of day again. Bought tankinis once, but they ended up in bin too. I need support & sooking in.  ;D
