Feeling dreadful!
« on: July 24, 2014, 11:41:50 AM »

Hi Everybody, its been a while since I last posted. I was told I was going through the menoapuse back in April and after a couple of weeks of severe anxiety, panic attacks and heart palpatations everything has settled down and I have felt as normal as I ever will! However since Sunday I have had a racing heart, horrific hot flushes and just feeling naff! Does anybody else find that they feel normal for a few months then the horrible bits flood back?

It does take s few months to settle but if you initially felt better and are now feeling worse then perhaps you need something stronger.

Of course this weather really does not help.

Perhaps a visit to your GP to discuss your options to get symptom control.

Yep.  I think set backs are worse than the initial symptoms  >:(

Have a chat with your GP or Practice Nurse?  Are you eating enough in this hot weather. Low blood sugar can cause anxiety surges!

Thank you for your replies. I cant take HRT due to high blood pressure - I just hope the palpatations go soon..
