Well ladies after 11 months of no period my hot flushes and night sweats stopped and I had a period two weeks later. It was light and lasted a week. Then I knew I was off again having a cycle as I had that stretchy mucus you get mid cycle, and sure enough 2 weeks later I have PMT! Still no return of the night sweats. Surely this must be coming to an end soon- anyone else with a long gap and then more periods. I didn't enjoy the night sweats so am loving feeling human again but I know it can't be long lived- at 54 the end is coming!
