Been referred to a gynaecologist at last! Had Mirena coil removed at the end of April to see if  it was making my symptoms worse . period came on 8th may clots on 15th and then bigger clots.

I have been so tired in the meantime i have been given the pill for heavy bleeding but I'm scared to take it im progesterone intolerant. As I was very low  whilst i hadon the coil and sometimes felt suicidal.

I don't know if its my hormones or if the coil is still in my system ?  My period is due again and still feeling awful but when I had coil I had a lot more days before period where I was down and very emotional.

Good to see you have now been given a referral.

Try not to be worried about the clots - although uncomfy to pass they are a good sign - it means that your body's clotting mechanism is working well.
