Painkiller recommendation
« on: May 29, 2014, 10:59:34 PM »

Hi all does anyone have a good pain killer to recommend. Since starting my HRT patches my cramps & bleeding have got much worse. I have co codomal from the GP but have made an appt several wks away & want to ask for something recommended or maybe even an OTC product. I don't want to add ibuprofren on as gastric problems where my first peri symptom so I try to stay away from anything that might cause upset.
They are like labour pains the ones that have you stopped in your tracks for a few minutes. It might just be the meno not the HRT but whatever they are BAD. Thank you in advance. B x

NSAIDs will work well but I can't take them as they are contradictory to SSRIs ( which I an on). My gyneacologist prescribed me NSAIDS and thank god I checked the leaflet prior to taking. So be careful with strong painkillers. Is there a way to take ibuprofin with meals to decrease the effect on the stomach?
