Not up here fortunately. We hardly ever get anything like that at all.

Think it's to improve by tomorrow though.

Not here either, though I did pop my inhaler in my bag when we went out this morning.

I notice that the oil seed rape is beginning to flower, it's the only thing that makes me wheezy  >:(

So that was why I was chuffing up the hill pushing my grandson! I'm sure it was steeper than last time. My grandson seems to be suffering. Streaming nose and coughing. Been going on for a while and we suspect hay fever and asthma. Poor lad hasn't had a chance, asthma and hay fever from both sides. He normally runs everywhere, but not today. Lives on a farm estate.

Youngest daughter who has a heart defect was up at 2am feeling unwell. Could be a bug doing the rounds but kept her home today. They break up tomorrow for Easter & we have a cardiologist appt on Monday anyway so will ask if it is a real problem for her or not x

Going past fields of oil seed rape in a car is a nightmare. Windows remain firmly closed, but it still filters through.

We had to drive through sand storms once up Elgin way, they get really bad sand storms sometimes. Fortunately that day wasn't so bad, but remember my mum speaking about them.  Think England often gets these things worse than us.  However, wind is to change direction tomorrow, so all of you suffering should get some clearer air soon.

Living in Aden, sand storms were something else :o they turned day into night, you could see them approach huge rolling dust clouds, even closing doors windows and shutters the sand got in making piles of sand everywhere.

No one out in it or you were sand blasted.

Sand storms were second on my list that I hated and was scared of, plagues of Locusts were first, they were something I will never forget.

I was scared of the camel trains too, every afternoon at the same time as we finished morning school they came by, just as I was crossing the road to get home.
