Evening all, just wanted to update you all on my HRT journey, the specialist has written to me and has told me my estrogen is low and has upped my patch from 50mcg to 100mcg, so hopefully things will start getting alot better

Good news! I upped my patches from 50 to 75 and now 100 (under specialist) but I found the jumps of 25 too big so did half patches etc to work my way up. You may have no problems but I got jittery when I made too big a jump

I would suggest a slow increase. Patches are easy to cut. Too much oestrogen can cause nausea and very jittery feelings.

Yes, I would use three quarters of a patch for a few weeks and then you will give your body a chance to adjust to the higher dose.
After all you are doubling and that's a lot all in one go.

I did start to feel crap, a bit jitty and quite ratty so I took it off and cut a small piece off roughly 1/4 so hopefully it be around 75mcg and I will try that for a few weeks and then put a 100mcg on, thanks for all your advice xx

Hi all again, just a bit of useless info, used the last two patches 50 mcg Thursday and today I had my script for the Estradot 100mcg, well I must of gone to 6 different chemists to find stock, 2 larger Boots stores but to no avail, in the end a nice girl in my local Lloyds suggested I go to a walk in centre in the city get another script for 50mcg so at least I have some while she ordered in the 100mcg, I waited over a hour for the script, GOD what a pain, my poor hubby he has the patience of a saint, anyone out there have troubles with get her HRT ??

I used to have minor problems with getting Evorel Conti. It was never in stock if I called into my small local Boots with a Script. Now it's on repeat the problem is sorted.

Hi all again need a moan, been on Estradot 75mcg now for only 4 days, up from 50mcg and today I feel sick, headache and my poor stomach is on fire and I feel really miserable, could it be down to the increase and will it pass as I have to increase again in a week to 100mcg, I am sitting here feeling god awful again and the only change has been the increase of HRT last Thursday

Hi moonbeam I suppose it could be. When I increase too quickly I always get nausea and headache, but it could also be a bug! Perhaps just wait and see, but I would not increase dose again until you feel better! You may well be fine on 75 rather than 100. Anyway hope you feel better.
Read about your travels to get 100 patches! I don't use them as they don't stick so well - I always get 2 x 50 and put them on instead!

I know it took me all day Sat, pain in butt, I will stick on 75mcg for a few weeks and see how I am then, the specialist did say my levels are very low and I will need the 100mcg but I will increase very slowly, even if it takes a month or so xx
