They've been trying out possible flights in flight sim. One pilot says if it turned west, as suggested it could be about 3000 miles into Indian ocean. His suggestion includes the possibility that cabin suddenly de-pressurised, which would cause unconsciousness. Pilots would then not have been able to message for help.

It reminds me of the TV programme called Lost.

I just can't help thinking about the families still waiting. Seems to be occupying too much of my thinking time at the minute.

It is always the waiting that is the worst, one can't deal with emotions etc. until there is information  :'( - I would be climbing the walls, it was bad enough when our friend was 'missing' following the Phillipine issues. He also flies from Malaysia to China - and back  :-\

Some scattered debris has been discovered on plane's flight path. Could be nothing of course.

I can't believe that it hasn't been found yet.

Maybe at the bottom of the Indian Ocean. They say it's very deep. Though why it changed course & things were switched off is very suspicious.

Must be so hard for all the relatives.

They were flying at the normal cruising altitude CLKD. Some vultures attain 30,000 feet though and geese regularly migrate at around 20,000 feet.
