Tragic, but what on earth has happened to it ?
It's just.....gone.

All seems a little bit fishy somehow. If it was terrorists then they don't hide the fact afterwards.

Just can't understand how it can just disappear without trace.

Some plane expert said yesterday that modern planes do not suffer from catastrophic failure.  There are no beacons sending signals. If it blew up, there is no debris. Very strange. It just vanished. If it had been hijacked it would have appeared on radar somewhere.  Maybe a Bermuda Triangle phenomenon. Who knows.

Apparently one that fell out of the air from France a few years ago simply disappeared until debris floated to the surface nearly a week later.  Eventually the Black Box was recovered.  If it had been a bomb then there would have been fragments by now ……… a hi-jack, flying lower than radar?

Now saying it turned westerly before disappearing from radar. Mystery thickens.

and it flew low for over an hour after changing direction. How great if it is holed up somewhere on some out of the way airstrip - unlikely I know - but it must be what the relatives are hoping.

The thing that puzzles me most is why the pilot did not radio something....anything. If he turned back was it hi-jacked or what. It kind of means that it did not just blow up in mid air.
They also said that even if there had been a catastrophic loss of power from both engines the pilot can glide for about 80 miles. Again no radio contact.

It's the biggest mystery. The black box stops transmitting in a month.....so the clock is ticking.

They have said its almost impossible to fly a plane that size low enough to avoid radar. Almost as impossible as landing something so big without it being seen by someone.

Hubby who is an aeroplane enthusiast  ::) says that it would not have been able to fly low enough to avoid detection, due to its sheer size. Somebody, somewhere would have spotted it.
