Ladies, a colleague had been growing Clark's shoes website and a box popped up asking her to complete a survey with a free gift at the end.
When she had completed it and filled in her address details, she saw there was a £4 delivery charge but as bthe gift was a free sample of a very expensive face cream, she went ahead using her credit card.
When the gift arrived she thought it was odd that the leaflet inside such an expensive cream was just a photocopied sheet so she googled the cream name and found others who had visited well known sites and also filled in the survey, not discovering until later that they had agreed to a subscription and money had been taken out .
My colleague rang her credit card company to stop any further payments being taken and they advised her to return the sample to cancel the subscription as well.
