swimming is lovely, as long as you aren't 6 or 8 to a lane with hairy backed lane-hogging men 
Sometimes I get a lane all to myself. Bliss. Takes away all the pain I have from fibro and gets rid of my weird autonomic symptoms while I'm in the water. I only do about 40 mins but it's great.
Still have to drag myself to the pool though, although the open air one when it opens will be much nicer.
Try it sometime! Just have a good shower afterwards though (chlorine).
