lung function test
« on: February 14, 2014, 11:01:17 PM »

Hi ladies, I had a lung function test done at my local hospital. I had to sit in a see through box and perform different breathing exercises. All felt quite strenuous at times but other than that it was fine, until the evening when ectopic heart beats returned and an ache under left rib cage. Wondered if anyone has had this kind of test before and did you have any aches or funny heart beats after it.

Hi
I haven't had a lung function test but I can relate to the ache under the left rib cage. Your intercostal muscles are there and you could have pulled them.

Thanks Lubylou, you are probably right as the ache is not so noticeable tonight. I have to repeat the test in two weeks so will be interesting to see if same symptoms occur. x
