PLEASE do not buy HRT on the internet. I know it's tempting when you are desperate but there is always the tiny chance that you might have serious side effects such as blood clots, and even if you don't you should have regular check ups every 6-12 months.

I'm not sure if you can buy it on the web without a prescription- can you? Some sites allow you to buy as long as you scan or send a copy of your prescription.

What you need to do is go back to your dr and show him the recommendations from the British Menopause Society- saying women can have HRT after 10 years or after age 60 if they are informed of the risks. Unless he feels you have something in your medical history which means you are at great risk then it is your right to have treatment.

If they refuse, then change your GP, or refer yourself to a menopause specialist- one appt will probably cost less than all the money you have spent on stuff that doesn't work!

Hi I have bought the same tablets I got on prescription on the internet.   Been taking them a month now and I feel fantastic, no more hot sweats, and I am not as irritable.  I think uit is worth taking the risk just feel better than I did
