My sons SIL is gay with a wife, but doesn't feel safe living where she does in NY state. They are going to move elsewhere in the USA, where there is more of a community, but is anywhere safe when there are such extreme hate and prejudice? This is a country where a man expressing extreme views, showing many signs of disfunctional behaviour, could be elected president.
