Cazikins - the pub is a couple of miles from my house. I drive. I have one glass of wine but if I get a lift I have two.

Hurdity - it's not actually a site for people with alcohol problems. It is a site encouraging anyone to give up alcohol for January and donate some (or all) of the money they save to Alcohol Concern who then use the money to help those with alcohol dependency problems. http://www.dryjanuary.org.uk/fundraising/  I'm not sure how the money is spent though.

I find the unit calculator interesting - not sure what they consider a small or medium glass of wine though

I read this thread title and thought you must be mad  ;D (weather....)

I drink very little. Maybe 3 glasses of wine a week. Even then, I feel bad afterwards and have to take a milk thistle. Tell my husband I'm a cheap date  ;)
