M&S cannot refuse - even if goods are in a Sale they have to be 'fit for purpose'.  A word with Trading Standards tomorrow!

I need calendars.  Off to MK this week once the rush is over.  Yesterday I have bought packs of cards from our local Hospice shop, they cut the price on some but not all  ??? ........

Ha!  I had no joy with the "fit for purpose" line, Trading Standards are now a toothless organisation who arent fit for purpose themselves.  Have you tried getting hold of TS in the past couple of years, since they were centralised?  You get nowhere unless you are happy to fork out in the small claims court  >:(

 :-\  .........

Calendars bought; can't find suitable socks - yet

Just Linen - Honeybun - do you purchase 'on line/phone' or go into the Store?  Need to measure our large bed as we need new flat sheets in brushed cotton  ;)

I think SALES should come with a health warning!!! I very rarely find anything - bed linen, towels, Christmas cards for next year - are about the only things I usually buy. I hate the feeling of battling with the crowds and I'm sure the sales aren't as genuine as they used to be.
I'm afraid my view is that if it's in the sale nobody wanted them in the first place or the items are defective.
However, I did get a fleece jacket half price from Lands End online - terribly practical a warm.
I'm looking forward to seeing new things in the shops.

I have done both CLKD.

A few years ago I had bought a new duvet cover and wanted matching sheets but could not decide on the colour that would go the best. I phoned and asked and the woman I spoke to went and found the same duvet as I was ordering and personally advised on the best colour. Service is the best I have ever had.
Quality is great. I have been using them for years. There are also links to cutlery crockery and kitchen ware too. All the same company.

Duvet for me Taz. Could not do with sheets and blankets. They are so difficult to launder in the winter and heavy on your legs.

I had a candlewick bedspread when I was little and spent many a happy hour picking out all the little tufts. It had big bald bits  ;D
