Tickets for Sinead O Connor tomorrow night in London: how to...
« on: December 09, 2013, 11:32:00 AM »

I have 2 good ones but I can't go and I don't know anyone who wants them, and too late to get a refund or exchange from the Royal festival Hall. Apparently if I'd done that yesterday, I could've, so that's what I get for not reading the  T&Cs- I was in central London yesterday too, as got up so early to get to Trafalgar Square for a memorial service at St Martin in the Fields for Nelson Mandela at 7.30am.
(I'm now too tired to go out tomorrow again, with my CFS).
Has anyone got any ideas or know someone who'd like them? Please pm me if the latter.

How about phoning your local radio station, they may be able to help.

That's a great idea, but being in London, not sure who that is! LBC?! I listen to radio through an app so no idea where anyone is!
I'm hoping that someone at OH's work will want them, but he seems doubtful as he's out of office all day today. I'm going to email my neighbours too (not normally a 'done thing' to do, this being London flat-land).

Not on FB (can't work out how it works!) but will try gumtree. Is Craigslist more dodgy?
I'm an idiot for having bought them, but it seemed like a good idea at the time  ::)

What time is the performance?  Perhaps phone your AMbulance or Fire Station to offer the tickets to someone off duty?

Think it's too short notice now. I asked the neighbour but as usual she couldn't be bothered to even reply.

It's difficult to get rid of tickets if the show hasn't sold out Old Sheep. There are still some tickets left. I have searched for a Sinead O'connor forum but to no avail. This would be the usual way to get rid of tickets. I'm glad you made it to the service yesterday though.

Thanks Taz. OH gave the tickets to a busker in the tube station. I'm happy about that.
Yes, went to sign the book of condolence for Mandela today. I unexpectedly welled up and ended up writing some rubbish instead of what I'd wanted to write. Oh well.
