FOR INFO: GP Training on HRT
« on: December 04, 2013, 11:28:23 AM »

I have never had any issues getting HRT but I am appalled at how difficult it is for some women to obtain. So I am trying to find NHS information to help women argue their case.

Here is a presentation from a GP Training event on HRT in the Pennines. Its audience is GP Registrars who are just starting out their careers.

I love the last page telling the GP Registrar to look up what to prescribe in MIMS!

My first consultation with my old GP when I requested HRT I said "I have read the Committee on Safety of Medicines report on HRT I have ,xy,z symptoms please can I have HRT"! Hmmmm patients saying things like that do not seem to catered for in the above presentation  ;D

I hope this is of some use to help argue the case for HRT.
