Is it time for a trip to the vet....for nail clipping. I do the dog myself but can't imagine struggling with a hissing cat.

Hope you can get the threads back and secure.

I do remember years ago when our little dog was a puppy. My hubby has two lovely wooden carved ducks which sat on the fireplace. Well the dog had a bit of a munch and I knew he would be furious. The kids and I got some sandpaper and some paints and did the repairs. He did not notice for years  ;D

Good work on the ducks. Hope my repair turns out as well as yours. Hubby says he's going to watch a footy match tomorrow morning so that's my chance. Airing cupboard will be latched shut in future ::)

Cat is off the hook. Managed quite a good job on the cardigan although there were more pulls than I had first thought. Did it with a needle threader pushed hrough the back and a curved sewing needle at the front to hook the pull through.

Cat sat watching me - I'm sure she was smirking.

Sigh of relief from me now its done

Well after lots of looking and deliberations I think I am mostly sorted for all the big gifts.
I have even ordered hubbies birthday present for the beginning of January. I always leave that too late and then panic as its too late to get anything interesting online.
A few more bits and bobs and I'm done

Well done Ariadne! Can be a chore doing that.

HB, you're certainly getting organised.

I told hubby it was his job to find me a small thing to open with our Christmas meal. I call them Cracker presents. I even gave him the small box to put it in. Should have seen his face. You'd think I'd asked for the world. It will entail him going on a trip to Stresscos. I said he'll easily find something in their new beauty aisle. Honestly, MEN!  ;D  In the past daughter or son have done it, but I thought he should do it this time. Goodness knows what I'll get.

I do know that hubby has asked my daughter to help him with a couple of little things for me. He asks her for ideas then she comes and asks me and then goes back and tells him  ;D

Us girls are sorted.   ;)

Solid perfume in a  Locket, it would fit nicely into the little box.

Didn't know you could still get solid perfume. I've seen some bath bombs shaped like cup cakes. That would suffice. Inexpensive too. Not that he grudges me, but pointless buying me expensive when all the others, which I've purchased, cost less than £5.
