As an aside - does anyone need the loo in the night and not go in case they disturb the household?  i.e. not for a wee but  :-\ ....... I will lay for hours knowing that I need to 'go' rather than however, it's cold in the bathroom in the early hours: that's my excuse anyway  ::)

If I need to go I go. Being lactose intolerant I sometimes have little control of when I need to go.  ::)

I am rarely up in the night but if I need to go then I do. Hubby would sleep through an earth quake so no problems there. The dog however thinks it's breakfast time and is quite disgusted about being sent back to bed and spends a long time sighing  ;D

Our cocker used to sigh  ;D particularly noticeable when ever we drove by her usual walks, she woudl sit up, look round, then lay down with a big sigh as we drove on.  She never 'got it' that going by meant a longer different walk  ::)

Hope to sleep tonight although we have to be up early tomorrow and Sat. morning so I know I will be half awake waiting for the alarm so that we don't over sleep ..............  :sigh:

Not me! Hubby has got to that age when he needs to go more than me! He wakes me up. :-\

My immediate thoughts .......... because my bowels are iffy sometimes I feel as though I need to spend time in the bathroom at night but then the thought goes through my brain, 'what if it's a bug'  :o so I lay awake: waiting .........

Tossed & turned all night long again. First got wakened by one of those deep itches in my foot. Drove me round the bend for about 30 minutes. Back to sleep & woke again with pain in back. Back to sleep & woke too blooming early, so just got up.  Grrrr

The glass of port I've taken to drinking just before bed seems to be getting bigger! ;D
