Great to hear from you CG - I hadn't even thought of flying although I don't know why as my son and OH always fly to either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Soon be there. I'm guessing the flight is around an hour.

She will have spent longer in departure than in the air. Flights from Aberdeen are not great so Edinburgh or Glasgow are the best option. Not too keen on flying really but at a push I will do it.
CLKD.....It's amazing what mum's will do for the kids  ::)

Cubagirl

Well done you  :)  I recommend Rescue Remedy spray... under the tongue as much as you like.

Stay positive and just remember, Anxiety is uncomfortable but it is not dangerous, try distraction with reading or listening to ipod.  Eat little and often something like bananas, you need fuel.

In one piece! Got list for tomorrow. Also have to take youngest to baby clinic & eldest to doctor. No rest for the wicked.
Had glass of wine on plane, never downed one so fast!  ;D Just had another at DD's. Enough for now. Got Cirque du Soleil on Wednesday night too.

Glad you got there safe and sound. Bet it was lovely to see the little ones.
Good luck for tomorrow, I am sure Granny will do just fine.

No harm is mentioning it CG. You did far better than I could. Can't use buses and trains and probably planes too as I am not the one in the driving seat and hate not being able to start and stop when I want. I never used to be like this either.

Me neither. It's frustrating not being able to do what you want when you want to without another thought.

Better times ahead though.....for all of us....fingers crossed.

Couldn't sleep last night, all jittery. Needless to say granddaughter hasn't read mummy's schedule. Refusing to eat, refusing to take milk. She's crashed on floor. Might crash with her. Roll on 4pm when mummy gets home. I'm coping, because I have to. She's missing her mummy for sure, but when she returns to work in January, wee one will go to nursery. Just got baby clinic to go to and take big sis to GP after school. Feet up tonight!

I'll be crashing with you .........  I have never been comfortable travelling with others, only my Dad and my husband - with other people I am always looking for a lay-by in case I need to stop suddenly  :-\ - haven't been on a train or coach for over 25 years ......

Do you have to take 2 grand-daughters to the GP?

Will need to take both, but only one has appointment. Baby clinic is at totally different location, but daughter hoping to be back by then.

It's amazing what you can do when you have to. Kids never follow the timetable as we all know. Part of their charm.  ::)

Hope all your appointments go smoothly. When do you head home ?.
You will probably sleep tonight as mummy will be in charge tomorrow and you can just enjoy being with them without the responsibility.

Such a relief. Mum managed to meet me for GP appointment, just. Tomorrow wee one has hospital appointment. We're off to see Cirque du Soleil at night.
Head home mid afternoon Friday. Won't get home until about 10pm.
