Hi friends not sure what is going on story of my life.
I am 50 and my periods have been getting lighter but lasting longer and ending in a brown discharge that goes for a couple of weeks . Don't think I am ovulating as don't have any signs. Hate this not knowing if its going to turn into a proper bleed or if its going to continue. Seems to me we can only live this journey backwards which is so frustrating. Does anyone else have this problem . Also have had palpitations last few days then this morning a creamy brown discharge ,,,, thank you girls if you reply

Hi Jane I don't have this exact symptom of meno (YET!) but I am sure someone here will & will post later. Welcome to being 50!  Had I known turning 50 would have only have 2 good months I would have stayed 49. I am looking forward to 51 now, not. I have had the palpitations though & can sympathise they scare me as they feel like a heart attack. B x

Hi and Welcome
Brownish discharge is pretty common.  I'm on HRT and still get this type of spotting sometimes.
I got brown discharge a lot when I was peri.
Any other meno symptoms?
