Thats why yu tale 2/3 week loading
The wee wee you will find will take ,longer reason for that mostly is mental you were driven sop mad vby the constant weeing that you cant seem to trust it even when its working
Took me friom Feb to August to trust it but the pain went wiht in a month
I still have blipos 3 years on but it only reinforces my choise to take it xxxxxxx

Thanx Suzi
So what ur saying is after the loading dose is done, there is still probably a bit of improvement to be had from the maintenance dose?

Am so glad im benefitting from the exoerience of others.
The thing that confused me was doc 1 examined and said i was under utrogenized and gave me double dose tabs

Consultant interviewed me and said it sounded classic va
Then she examined me and sent me fir scans

Then on follow up she gave me vagifem and when i asked was it defo va she said my vag didnt show signs of it when she examiined me
But i reckon cos i had huge amounts of hrt by that time it probably didnt, but my bladder had yet to improve, even though my vagina had

Does that sound right toyou?

Luv Tingly

Ps i know what you mean about trusting the wee!!!!!

OH god yes it cant cure it dont think that for one moment come of it and bam it comes back
But as the weeks go and moths it become alsmost like it used to be NOT quite but almost
The weeing is the ting that takes longer its not that you want to go or need to go you just cant stop cos oyu cant belive its working but one day oyu will and oyu will tnhink hell not been to the lavvie for 5 hours
Me yesterday went at 730am didnt go again till 7pm had liquid just forgot and didnt feel the need to go????
Sounds right to me Just now sue Vagifem OK no soap cotton kickers if you can depending on when you started
No sex for 6 weeks then on entry OUCH but once in fine felt sore later but only like youd had too much sex
Next day fine so chin up its working already xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Suzi
Thanks ever so much. You have given me hope and less anxiety....and more info than the doctors/gynaecology specialist put together

I spose my only other fear is because ive now come off the oral hrt, that will dry me out soon nd will counteract any benefit from the vagifem.
I hope not cos i really dont wanna go back on it again...ive been on it for years and hate the progesterone part....and i cant stay on it forever anyway.

Small update
Day 9 in the vagifem house,...( meaning to sound like big brother programme here!!)

The urinary problems are declining, urethra a bit bothersome yesterday but bit better today

7 days off the full systemic hrt...hot flushes are back and vagina going dry again(can live with this as long as it doesnt ruin my bladder progress)
Am not missing the thought og taking utrogestan tonight..i hated it.

I wonder if the hormonin systemic hrt is now out of my system?
Im also reflecting on what the consultant said about stretching my urethra.
I thought she meant a cystoscopy, but apparently she meant literally stretching it

I had a cystoscopy a coupke of years back and they did not say it had a stricture
And also when i had my bladder scanned fukl of water, then after id emptied it...the results said i emptied fully

So why in gods name woukd anyone want to stretch it!

I had mine stretched in the 1980s as I had constant cystitis. It wasn't very nice. And I don't think it did a lot of good.
