Utrogestan and emotions!
« on: September 07, 2013, 07:23:06 AM »

Does anyone else get really emotional and rather weepy when taking the Utrogestan? It never really happened when I was on the 100mg but have now gone onto the 200mg and also have rather vivid dreams, keep having flashbacks to my childhood days, which were very happy and then get all weepy and emotional thinking on those warm, fuzzy memories, thinking of those  no longer with us and how far we have come, I am not normally this emotional, perhaps I am just getting old lol. Seem to think that the Utro is def playing a part though??

I've never felt like this on Utrogestan! But - I haven't had the 100 mg dose .

I think the sudden changes in hormone levels can play havoc with our emotions, until they stabilise though....

The only thing I would say is that utrogestan has an effect on my bladder so have to get up a couple of times in the night - the time leading up to realising I need to is a restless time so I tend to dream a lot then - but more to do with the bladder rather than the hormone itself if you see what I mean! I use it vaginally....
